 This is a relatively small restaurant for Birmingham, But larger than usual for English Village. I really love this restaurant. The food never disappoints. It has nice outdoor and indoor seating (bar area and separate dining room). The manager and servers are so very nice and accommodating !

 The manager was so helpful with our drink and food choices. Food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Already recommended to family to eat there! Will definitely return!

 First time dining at Civitas. We had the fried Okra app which was very good. Our table ordered the salmon over pasta with prosciutto cream sauce(fantastic sauce), spaghetti bolognese and chicken sandwich…all were excellent. Finished the meal with the best bread pudding ever, and yes I’ve eaten at the top restaurants in New Orleans. Good reasonably priced bottle of wine….and yes we’ll be back.

 A wonderful evening was spent at Civitas! We hosted a small baby shower for one of our coworkers and the server gifted her with a Civitas gift card at the end. So sweet and thoughtful! I will certainly be back!

 The staff was incredible. Very warm greeting and service was great. The food was great excellent. The atmosphere was very nice. The guests I brought to eat were both from out of town (DC and NYC) and both were highly impressed and talked about the experience the rest of the day. This will become a regular “go-to” dining destination!
